Among the millions of blogs on Tumblr, only a small number are contributors of original content: “the world’s creators”
And if you’ve ever looked at Tumblr’s Explore Page you might notice that Photography is oddly absent.
There’s #design, #art, #architecture and even #artists on tumblr — but no mention of anything related to the art of taking pictures with a camera. Even #film is a trap — it’s for movies, not analog photography!
We don’t think this situation is acceptable. So let’s Fight it.
We’d like to ask all original photographers on Tumblr to start putting the #photographers on tumblr tag on every single photo you post.
Photographers deserve more recognition among the Creators on Tumblr. Hopefully, by using this tag we’ll help the entire community of Tumblr photographers get noticed — and maybe one day we will see that tag on the Tumblr Explore page too.
Reblog this post and spread the word.
Sincerely,
Photographers on Tumblr

I have underestimated the significance of the words of one of my very talented vigneron friends who once said that he could always pick out Léclapart’s Champagne in a blind tasting. He’s absolutely right: there simply is no other Champagne like it. To me it is the perfect marriage of the purest Champagne, still wine and dry sherry, and yet it expresses the soils of Trépail unapologetically. As such it completely redefines what is possible for terroir champagnes. True to form, L’Artiste 2006 is very rich and pure albeit slightly shy today. Yet Léclapart’s signature salinity, stony minerality and explosive energy cannot be contained even at this stage. A mind boggling achievement. (at Artisan Cellars)
The desire to create is addictive, frustrating and repetitive.
This bottle reinspired my passion to tell (and yell to the) world that we ought to DRINK wine. Not sniff, not taste, not take tasting notes, just good ol’ quaffing and imbibing… Delicious, affordable, genuine and high in quality, I’m finishing a bottle of this by myself tonight because I can’t stop drinking it. I’m sure it’ll be the same for everyone who tries it, and there are many more wines like this from everywhere. Natural wine: it is the place to be.
